Terms and Conditions
By signing in or using eCleanup, you agree to these terms. These terms help keep the platform useful, respectful, and safe for volunteers, schools, organizations, and community members.
Important Note
eCleanup is a community volunteering and environmental reporting platform. Content may be submitted by users, and cleanup activity may involve real-world risks. Please use good judgment and follow all applicable laws and safety guidance.
Community Content
Reports, comments, photos, articles, event details, and other submissions may be created by users or community partners. eCleanup does not pre-verify every submission and is not responsible for user-published content.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not post illegal, unsafe, misleading, hateful, private, copyrighted, or unrelated material.
Volunteer Safety
Cleanup work is voluntary. Use your own judgment, follow local laws, avoid hazardous materials, and do not enter private or restricted areas without permission.
eCleanup does not supervise volunteer activity, provide emergency services, or guarantee that a reported location is safe.
Moderation
We may review, hide, edit, remove, or refuse content at any time when we believe it violates these terms, creates risk, or harms the community.
We may limit, suspend, or disable any user, organization, event, report, article, certificate, or other entity at any time, with or without notice.
Impact Records
Profiles, cleanup records, certificates, hours, photos, and map activity are provided as community impact records, not official legal, academic, employment, or government verification unless separately confirmed by the relevant institution.
We may correct or remove records that appear inaccurate, duplicated, abusive, or unverifiable.
Platform Availability
We work to keep eCleanup available, accurate, and useful, but the service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free data, or permanent storage of any submission.
Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued as the project evolves.
Privacy And Respect
Only submit information you have permission to share. Avoid posting personal information about other people, especially minors, without appropriate consent.
Use eCleanup respectfully. Harassment, impersonation, spam, abuse, and attempts to manipulate impact records are not allowed.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as the project grows. Continued use of eCleanup after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
